Menorca always puts forward excellent occasions that merge the enjoyment of sports and leisurely activities while simultaneously taking pleasure in the gifts of Mother Nature. Sea fanatics have an extensive assortment of activities to choose from - from the simple activity of swimming in any of the coves on the island to specific activities such as windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. There are also boat trips around the island and trips to the main points of interest on the coast. There are also activities to enjoy while on land, and Menorca will certainly not come short of ideal places to accommodate serious (and less serious) hikers and cyclists.

Menorca Diving and Snorkeling

The seawaters that border the island of Menorca are clear and clean, with a vast diversity of sea creatures just beneath the surface. Having calm waters, diving and snorkeling are an ideal and favorite marine activity in the island. There are scuba diving courses available for beginners but for people hoping to dive in the deeper waters, a diving certificate is a requirement. Both snorkeling and scuba diving provide the same thrill and excitement, although the latter is a little bit more pricy.

Menorca Fishing

Fishing is not an official sport, but there are more than a few agents that organize fishing trips, and these are generally very fruitful and pleasurable activities. Grab a chance to catch your own giant lobster, gain the honor from fishing pros and likewise save yourself from spending a hefty amount for a good Menorcan cuisine. Fishing activities offer a different kind of satisfaction that you will want to do it again and again especially on Menorcan seas.

Menorca Cycling

Cycling is a good physical exercise. It is a much liked activity and provides a pleasant approach to see the interesting sights and attractions of Menorca. There are also several challenging tracks for mountain bikes through Menorca's more jagged terrain areas. There are numerous places to hire bicycles on the island of Menorca and these are usually inexpensive.

Menorca Hiking

Similar to cycling, hiking is also a good leisurely activity to flex those bones and muscles. Hiking is becoming a well loved pursuit among several locals and tourists of Menorca. The hilly regions of the island are some of the best places for hiking and Menorca offers many excellent hiking trails, many of which lead to the island's numerous nature reserves. In particular, the Cap de Favaritx, Cap de Cavalleria and S'Albufera areas of Menorca provide some of the best hiking trails on top of countless sights to marvel upon. Nature lovers and backpackers will truly find this activity a gratifying one.

Menorca Spa Treatment

After doing a lot of tiring activities, or even after a long hot day of roaming around the beautiful island of Menorca, you very well deserve all the pampering that only a spa can provide. There are certain hotels in Menorca that offer the amenities and service of the finest spa centers. Spa fitness facilities in general include a swimming pool, sauna, steam, and Jacuzzi. In addition, you will be able to experience beauty treatments and relaxing, aroma-therapeutic massages.
