Museu de Menorca (Museum of Menorca)

The Museum of Menorca is to be found in Avda. Dr. Guardia of Mahon. Its quarters is in the past abbey of a Franciscan monastery. This museum houses artifacts from the Roman, Byzantine, Arabic and Talayotic periods of Menorca and also has the biggest anthology of Menorcan fine arts. The captivating display will surely provide you with a lot of knowledge regarding the island’s history.

Museo Diocesano de Menorca (Diocese Museum)

The Diocese Museum is considered a Menorca attraction, and is situated in the town of Ciutadella which is based in a former Augustinian convent. This gallery contains prehistoric relics, bronze casting, consecrated items, and a lot of Catalonian paintings.

Museu de la Natura de Menorca

The Museu de la Natura de Menorca is a fascinating gallery that displays an array of the natural wonders of the island of Menorca.
Museo Militar

If you are interested such things as armed forces and military works, then Museo Militar is the place to go see. This museum is to be found at the Plaza Explanada, and is a venue to check out the aged ammunitions and patriotic emblems of Menorca. You will surely discover much about Menorca’s military history.

Museu Municipal de Ciutadella

Located in Placa de Sa Font, the building of Museu Municipal de Ciutadella was previously situated in Bastio de Sa Font. The current museum, founded in 1995, exhibits primordial relics from the Talayotic, Muslim and Roman epoch of the island of Menorca. Some of the interesting historical items that are housed in this museum are skulls from the iron age, Roman jewelry and coins, and various ceramic wares that will really spark your imagination regarding the olden times of Menorca.

Museo Fort Malborough

Located in the Cala Sant Esteve, the Fort Malborough was originally erected by the British in the latter part of the 18th century. This fort has gone through several assailments throughout the centuries, yet it still stands firm. This seven-sided structure has been transformed into a museum and today serves domicile to many interesting artifacts.
